2. Data Storage & Retention
- Workspace records such as invoices, receipts, and client directories are stored securely in your authenticated account.
- Uploaded bank statement PDFs are processed in memory and are not permanently retained after conversion.
- Exported files (Excel, Tally XML) are generated on-demand and delivered directly to your browser for download.
3. Platform Analytics and Service Usage
TruLedger uses Google Analytics to measure page views, feature usage, conversion outcomes, exports, authentication events, and subscription checkout events.
For signed-in users who accept analytics, we may associate an internal account identifier and non-sensitive properties such as subscription plan, account role, and authentication method with analytics events. We do not send names, email addresses, uploaded files, filenames, invoice or receipt content, or financial details to Google Analytics. If analytics is rejected, analytics storage remains disabled.
4. Account Authentication & Subscription Management
TruLedger uses secure authentication for account access. Subscription management, billing, and plan upgrades are handled through your account settings.
Your subscription status determines feature access and conversion quotas within the platform.
5. Information We Collect (Website & Billing)
Account registration: When you create an account or subscribe to a plan, we may collect your name, email address, and billing information. Payments are processed through our payment providers, and we do not store full payment card details.
Website visitors: Standard website and server logs may record information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security, operations, and service administration.
6. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate billing, email delivery, hosting, or related business functions.
We use HTTPS for web communications and apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the services we operate.
